Did you know Breakfast is the most important meal of the day?  Of course you did, your mum has always told you that.

Did you know that 47% of people in the UK don’t have breakfast and that 48% of people in the UK have a sugar based breakfast?

An unhealthy breakfast or no breakfast can cause you to gain weight, as well as affect your mood.

I’m looking for people who are serious about changing their lifestyle in 2017, starting with an Ideal Breakfast.

I will provide you with a 6 Day Breakfast, support and other nutritional advice, to see how different you feel after 6 days.

Over the next 6 days we are excited for you to experience the benefits of a breakfast that gives you everything your body needs.


Each shake should be made with 250ml fluid. The ideal recommendation is soy milk but you can use another type of milk or low-sugar fruit juice. If you have a blender, our shakes taste incredible with ice and a small amount of added fruit.

You also want to have a cup of our refreshing Instant Herbal Tea. Your breakfast pack contains 2 sachets of tea, and each sachet contains 3 servings. Simply add ½ a teaspoon to a cup of hot water and enjoy!

Meal Plan

Over the 6 days you should eat 5 times per day focusing on complex carbohydrates (fruit, vegetables and wholegrains) and lean protein (white meat, lean red meat, eggs, beans, pulses and soy products). Try to cut down on rice, pasta, white potatoes and bread.

Your day should look as follows:

Breakfast – Herbalife smoothie & Instant Herbal Tea

Mid-morning – Snack

Lunch – Balanced meal of complex carbohydrates & lean protein

Mid-afternoon – Snack

Dinner – Balanced meal of complex carbohydrates & lean protein

Protein Drink Mix (2 scoops)

Eggs (1-2)

Oatcakes/wholegrain crackers with soft cheese/cold meat

Nuts (be careful to portion)


Meat/fish portion

Small salad

Yoghurt (high protein brands Arla, Danio, Total 0%, Liberte)

Bean/seed mix

Veg and hummus dip



Try to consume a minimum of 2.5l of water per day. Minimise black tea / coffee as much as possible, avoid fizzy / sugary drinks and too much alcohol.


Do you have High Cholesterol?

In August, Herbalife sent out an email to it’s distributors asking if anyone would like to do a trial of their new product Beta Heart.

For those of you that know me, Herbalife has made a huge difference to my life, so I decided I’d give this a go.

I was accepted onto the trial and had to have my bloods taken before I started the products, which of course I did.

I used the product for 4 weeks and then had my bloods taken again.

The results were amazing, my cholesterol had dropped by nearly 20% (as you will see in the picture below).



I was amazed by these results and the doctors at Herbalife were really pleased with them too.

5 Simple Holiday Tips!


A few people have asked me for advice for when they are on holiday.

Remember, you are not following a diet plan, you are following a nutrition plan and working to change your lifestyle to a Healthy Active Lifestyle, so in real terms the same rules apply to when you’re at home.

Ok, you may drink a little more and you may eat some nice treats but generally as long as you follow these other tips, you shouldn’t gain nearly as much as you probably have previous years.

1) Drink 3-4 litres of water a day

2) Eat a protein based breakfast (never skip breakfast)

3) Reduce your intake of Simple Carbohydrates (anything beige)

4) Make sure you have vegetables/salad with every meal

5) Keep active:- swimming, walking, dancing (minimum of 30 mins per day)

Don’t diet all year for your holiday, just change your lifestyle and make healthier choices throughout your life.  Then when special occasions and holidays come around you can afford to have a treat.

Remember, you are fuelling your body!

Healthy Snacks.

1 cup of pecans

1 cup of linseeds

3 tbsp cacao powder

1 tbsp coconut oil

2 tbsp almond butter

½ cup raisins

4-6 medjool dates


  • Add linseeds & pecans to your food processor & blend until a flour is formed, about 1 minute
  • Add cacao powder & mix another minute until mixture is dark brown
  • Add coconut oil & almond better, blend again for another minute
  • Mixture should be sticky
  • Lastly, remove stones from dates & add to mixture with raisins, blend for a few minutes.

This should give you a sticky mixture you can shape into balls – use about 1 tbsp per ball

Store in tin in fridge to firm …Enjoy!

I’m so excited to be able to inform you that my new Studio is now Open.

I held my first class on Wednesday, 26th August 2015.

I will be holding 3/4 evening classes here each week, morning and afternoon classes, if I get enough demand and Personal and Group Personal Training Sessions.
